nerve) and is characterized by progressive loss of vision in either or both
eyes.
The primary cause of glaucoma is not known but the following risk
factors may increase one’s chances of getting the disease.

Personal history of diabetes or hypertension

History of wear glasses e.g. high myopia or
hyperopia

A long history of drug use e.g. corticosteroids

Smoking
9.
Age i.e. people over 40 years.
